Unity bank is Nigeria's leading retail bank after emerging from the largest merger and consolidation in Nigeria's banking industry. Following the landmark banking consolidation spear-headed by the Central Bank of Nigeria, (CBN), nine financial institutions with competences in investment banking, corporate and retail banking came together in January 2006 to form Unity Bank Plc.
They are Nigeria's 7th largest bank by business locations. The Head Office is at 785, Herbert Macaulay Way, Central Business District, Abuja, while the Head Office annexe is at 290A Akin Olugbade Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
